The Kwara State chapter of the Accord Party has unveiled Hon. Adamu Usman as its governorship candidate for the forthcoming 2027 election.
The announcement was made during a live programme on SBS 96.9 FM, Ilorin, where the party’s State Organising Secretary, Mallam Yusuph Funsho Kabir, formally introduced Hon. Adamu Usman to the people of Kwara State. The programme provided an opportunity for the party to present its candidate and communicate its political vision ahead of the election.
Mallam Yusuph Funsho Kabir reaffirmed the Accord Party’s commitment to people-centred leadership, genuine representation, unity, accountability and progress, while calling on Kwarans to support the party’s vision for a better state. The party also acknowledged the contribution of its Treasurer, Comrade Salman Salman, towards making the programme and unveiling possible.
The appearance on SBS 96.9 FM further strengthened the party’s public engagement and provided a platform for the Accord Party to officially introduce its governorship candidate to a wider audience as it begins preparations for the 2027 election.
