The app is already on the App Store for pre-order and will let users edit and export videos without watermarks. It comes with professional tools like layering, trimming, 4K HDR support, automatic captions, and stylish subtitles.
Adobe is also adding its Firefly AI features, so users can create images, audio, and video from text prompts. The app will connect to Adobe Stock for music, photos, and graphics, and will also include fonts and Lightroom presets.
The iPhone app will be free to use, but some advanced AI tools and cloud storage will require a subscription or credits. An Android version is planned, but no release date has been given.
This launch puts Adobe in direct competition with other mobile editing apps like Meta’s Edits and Captions, aiming at creators making short videos for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
