Kwarans have been urged to always say positive things about the State.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Kwara State Governor, Mallam Rafiu Ajakaye, has emphasized the power of positive speech as a vital tool for strengthening national security and shaping the country’s image and future.

Speaking on Thursday edition of SBS FM’s security program “Abo Ilu,” Mallam Ajakaye stressed that traditional rulers, religious leaders, and community heads must see security as a shared responsibility.

He urged them to promptly report any suspicious activities to the relevant security agencies to safeguard their communities. He further highlighted the importance of timely information sharing from citizens, noting that it is a crucial step in preventing crime and ensuring collective safety.

Ajakaye also charged both the media and the public to be mindful of the power of information and representation, warning that the way a nation communicates can influence its growth, development, and global image.

The CPS expressed appreciation to the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for his consistent support and reassured the people of Kwara of the government’s commitment to protecting lives and properties.
