Al-Hikmah Varsity Founder, Oladimeji hails Olofa’s 16th anniversary on throne

Founder of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr) Abdur-Raheem Oladimeji, has congratulated the Olofa of Offa, HRM Oba Mufutau Mohammed Gbadamosi Oloyede Okikiola, Ajagungbade I, Esuwoye II, on his 16th coronation anniversary.

Oladimeji, who is the Jagunmolu of Igbomina Land, Arogundade of Lagos and Baba Oba of Offa, described the monarch as a pacesetter whose reign has brought significant growth and development to Offa and its environs.

In a congratulatory message, the Al-Hikmah University founder said Oba Gbadamosi had, even before ascending the throne, positioned himself as a rallying point for the people of Offa through his contributions to the development of the community.

He also commended the monarch for creating employment opportunities through his business ventures and for mobilising indigenes of the town, both at home and in the diaspora, towards self-help, development, safety and security initiatives.

Oladimeji noted that the monarch’s humane disposition and leadership qualities had endeared him to the people of Offa.

He described the last 16 years of the monarch’s reign as historic in the annals of the ancient town and prayed for continued good health and longevity for the traditional ruler.

“I take this moment to congratulate the Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Mohammed Gbadamosi Oloyede Okikiola, Ajagungbade I, Esuwoye II, on his 16th installation anniversary as traditional ruler of the ancient town of Offa.

“It is indeed a glorious time for the people of Offa and Ibolo Land that the last 16 years have brought unprecedented development to the community, especially in the areas of self-help and funded projects as a result of the personal mobilisation efforts of the Olofa of Offa,” the statement partly read.
