Bayern Munich have extended head coach Vincent Kompany’s contract by two years, keeping him at the club until 2029.
The Belgian tactician, appointed in 2024, guided Bayern to reclaim the Bundesliga title from Bayer Leverkusen in his debut season.
Kompany’s side have started the new campaign in dominant fashion, winning all 11 matches across competitions.
“It feels like I’ve been here a lot longer,” the 39-year-old said. “We’ve started a wonderful journey. Let’s keep working hard and celebrate more success!”
