Winner of the just-concluded Big Brother Naija Season 10, Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, has expressed her desire to work with award-winning filmmaker Funke Akindele, describing her as a mentor and major inspiration in Nollywood.
Speaking shortly after receiving her ₦150 million grand prize and a car at the presentation ceremony in Lagos, the 23-year-old reality star said the BBNaija platform helped her discover and display her acting talent.
“I think people saw a lot of my acting skills in the house. Even housemates said I’m a great actress. I’m ready for more,” she said.
Imisi revealed that her post-show focus would be on building a career in film, citing Funke Akindele, Bimbo Ademoye, and Bolaji Ogunmola as her biggest inspirations.
“Yes, Funke Akindele is my number one mentor. I hope to work with her someday,” she added.
Describing her victory as overwhelming, Imisi thanked her fans nationwide for their support, saying the experience still feels surreal.
