The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has rescheduled the Champions League second preliminary round second-leg fixture between Rivers United and Black Bulls of Mozambique.
Originally slated for Sunday, November 26, the decisive encounter will now hold on Saturday, November 25, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, with kickoff set for 4 p.m.
CAF did not provide any official reason for the date change.
Rivers United, who suffered a 1–0 defeat in the first leg in Maputo, must win by two or more goals to advance to the lucrative group stage of the competition.
The Pride of Rivers will be counting on home advantage and strong fan support as they seek to overturn the deficit and keep Nigeria’s flag flying on the continental stage.
