The Muslim Ummah in Ilorin, Kwara State, and beyond mourns the passing of a prominent islamic scholar and leader, the Chief Imam of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Council of Ulama, Shaykh Muhammad Bashir Solih (OON).
We pray that Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings, accepts his good deeds, grants him Jannatul Firdaus, and gives comfort and strength to his family, the Ilorin Emirate, the Council of Ulama, and the entire Muslim community at this moment of great loss.
May Allah raise successors who will uphold his legacy of knowledge, humility, and service to Islam.
