Nigerian disc jockey, Princess Ntuk Williams, popularly known as DJ Pretty Play, has completed a 288-hour non-stop club DJing marathon, setting a potential new world record for the longest DJ set.

The marathon, which ended on Monday, March 23, 2026, was held at Bay Lounge in Lekki, Lagos, after running continuously for 12 days. Her team confirmed that the attempt has been submitted to Guinness World Records for official verification.

The feat attracted widespread attention, drawing large crowds to the venue and significant online engagement, as supporters followed the DJ through the demanding final hours of the endurance challenge.

The record attempt marks her second try within the month. An earlier effort that began on March 3 was discontinued on the third day after a rule violation involving the repetition of a song within a restricted time frame, which led to disqualification. She restarted the challenge on March 11 and completed it successfully.

Several Nigerian celebrities, including D’banj, Ini Edo, Charles Okocha, Anita Joseph, and Slimcase, were present at different times to show support during the marathon.

If confirmed, DJ Pretty Play will surpass the current record of 244 hours and 2 minutes, set by Italy’s DJ Faber Moreira in May 2024.

Her team noted that the initiative aims to highlight resilience, discipline, and female representation in the DJ industry, while contributing to Nigeria’s growing list of global record achievements.
