The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Kwara Chapter has honoured Dr Mumeen A. Yusuf with its prestigious Pillar of Support Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the growth and sustainability of the organisation.
The award was presented on Saturday, December 27, 2025, during a JCI Kwara event by the chapter’s 2025 President, Miss Rodiat Oke, who described Dr Yusuf as a consistent pillar behind the chapter’s successes and effective implementation of its yearly agenda.
Miss Oke commended Dr Yusuf for his unwavering mentorship, strategic guidance and behind-the-scenes support, noting that his commitment has continued to strengthen JCI Kwara across successive leadership cycles.
Dr Yusuf is a long-standing member of the JCI movement, having previously served as President of JCI at the collegiate level at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, and as President of the now-defunct JCI Kwara Metro Chapter. His leadership, the chapter said, left lasting impacts on membership development, capacity building and organisational continuity.
Junior Chamber International is a global non-profit organisation of young active citizens aged 18 to 40, operating in over 100 countries. The organisation focuses on leadership development, entrepreneurship, active citizenship and sustainable community impact.
Reacting to the honour, Dr Yusuf described the award as a reflection of years of dedication to youth leadership development and the enduring ideals of the JCI movement.
