Hundreds of Muslim faithful gathered at the Oko Olowo Eid praying ground on Wednesday to observe the two-raka’ah Eid-ul-Adha prayer.
Delivering the Eid sermon, the Chief Imam of Oko Olowo Central Mosque, Imam Abdullah Olohuntoyin Sirajudeen Badda, called on Kwara State Governor Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to find a lasting solution to the insecurity confronting the state.

Imam Badda also urged Muslims to celebrate the festival in the spirit of love and unity, and to continue praying for peace and progress in Nigeria.
He offered prayers for Allah’s protection and guidance for all worshippers as they returned to their destinations, and prayed that they would witness many more Eid celebrations in good health.

The Imam further commended the Chief Executive Officer of SBS, Salmon Babatunde Salmon, for his contributions to the community.
