The Management and Staff of the National Cereals Research Institute (NCRI), Badeggi, have felicitated with the Chairman of the Institute’s Governing Board, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, on his 71st birthday.
In a congratulatory message by the Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Tukur Mohammed today, the Executive Director of NCRI, Dr. Mohammed Ndagi Ishaq, described the Chairman as “an exemplary leader whose wisdom, dedication and visionary guidance have continued to reposition the Institute for excellence in agricultural research and innovation.”
Dr. Ishaq noted that under Prince Fagbemi’s leadership, the Institute has recorded renewed vigour in research focus, strengthened governance systems, and deeper collaboration with stakeholders across the agricultural value chain.
“As you mark this special day, we join your family, colleagues, and well-wishers in thanking the Almighty for the gift of your life and service,” the Executive Director said. “We pray for your continued good health, greater strength, and boundless wisdom as you steer the affairs of the Board with grace and distinction.”
He added that the Board Chairman’s unwavering commitment has significantly advanced the cause of agricultural development in Nigeria.
