The Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) and the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) have commissioned a remodelled ICT Centre at Baptist High School, Port Harcourt, to promote digital literacy and human capital development.
The project, unveiled alongside the close-out of a year-long Human Capital Development Basic Training Programme, aims to enhance employability and technical skills among Nigerian youths.
NCDMB Executive Secretary, Engr. Felix Ogbe, described the centre as a “gateway to innovation and future opportunities,” while NLNG’s GM, External Relations, Sophia Horsfall, said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to education and sustainable development.
The facility features a 40-seater ICT lab, 20KVA solar system, and digital learning tools. Thirty trainees also received international certifications in engineering, HSE, and entrepreneurship as part of the programme.
