Kwara United have confirmed the appointment of Ashifat Suleiman as their new Technical Adviser.
The announcement was made by the Ilorin-based club on Wednesday, ending weeks of speculation about who would permanently take over the role.
Suleiman had been in charge on an interim basis following the sack of former Technical Adviser Tunde Sanni. During his short stint, he recorded one win, one draw, and one defeat in three matches, a run the club described as “steady and promising.”
Reacting to his appointment, Suleiman expressed gratitude to the club management for the confidence reposed in him, promising to build a competitive team that will make fans proud.
“This is a huge responsibility and a privilege. I will work closely with my technical crew and players to ensure we achieve the club’s goals this season,” he said.
Kwara United will next face Rangers International at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu this weekend as the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season continues.
