Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has extended her national menstrual health campaign, “Flow with Confidence,” to Anambra State with the distribution of 10,000 sanitary pad packs to schoolgirls.
The initiative, implemented under the Renewed Hope Initiative, aims to promote menstrual hygiene and empower young girls through a one-year supply of sanitary pads.
At the flag-off ceremony held Wednesday at the Banquet Hall of the Light House in Awka, Tinubu was represented by Anambra’s First Lady, Dr Nonye Soludo, who doubles as the state coordinator of the programme.
The nationwide project, launched in October 2025, targets 370,000 schoolgirls across Nigeria’s 36 states and the FCT, with each state receiving 10,000 packs.
