Popular comedian Seyi Law has congratulated fellow entertainer Deeone for completing a remarkable 52-hour stand-up comedy marathon in Lagos, a feat he described as a historic milestone in Nigerian comedy.
Taking to X, Seyi Law commended Deeone’s determination and long-term commitment to the craft, noting that the achievement was the result of “years of planning and relentless effort.”
“What started as a joke to many was, in truth, a vision fueled by passion and years of planning. From 2021, the journey was long, demanding, and relentless, but today, it has become a reality. A record-breaking 52 hours of performance is no small feat. It’s monumental,” he wrote.
He further praised Deeone’s perseverance and prayed that the milestone would pave the way for greater accomplishments.
“While we await the official confirmation, I celebrate your unwavering dedication, resilience, and sheer willpower. You’ve done what most wouldn’t dare to attempt. Congratulations, my brother @DeeoneComedian — you made history today.”
Deeone’s marathon performance, which reportedly lasted more than two days, is being reviewed for official recognition by record authorities.
