Nigerian singer, Seyi Shay, has revealed that her four-year isolation was a period of deep reflection and personal transformation.
Speaking in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, the singer said the break helped her grow mentally and spiritually, describing isolation as “a blessing” that gave her hindsight, insight, and foresight.
She also addressed questions about her relationship status, explaining why she is not married to the father of her daughter.
“It’s a technical issue,” she said, adding that they maintain a cordial relationship and co-parent their child peacefully.
