Leaders from across the South-West have urged President Bola Tinubu to make regional integration and infrastructure renewal a top national priority.
They threw their weight behind the President’s ongoing economic reforms, describing them as crucial for Nigeria’s stability, competitiveness, and long-term growth.
The leaders acknowledged that while the reforms may bring short-term hardship, they are designed to create lasting industrial expansion, employment opportunities, and improved infrastructure nationwide.
They called for urgent rehabilitation of key road networks and economic linkages across the South-West, stressing that the region’s connectivity remains central to Nigeria’s overall development agenda.
The demands formed part of the resolutions adopted at the end of the South-West Citizens–Government Summit held to strengthen policy coordination and regional cooperation.
