On August 16, reality star and entrepreneur Tacha announced on X her plan to host the biggest beauty festival Africa has ever seen, and attempt a Guinness World Record for the most makeovers completed in 24 hours.
From October 10 to 12, 2025, the JK Randall Centre in Onikan, Lagos, buzzed with brushes, models, and nonstop music as Tacha and her team worked round the clock. Celebrities like Laycon and Ike turned up in support as the atmosphere charged with anticipation.
By October 13, she had reportedly completed 145 makeovers, submitting her evidence to Guinness World Records for official verification.
Though confirmation is still pending, social media erupted with celebration, hailing her boldness and determination.
Tacha’s record attempt adds her name to a growing list of Nigerians who’ve shattered limits and earned global recognition.
