About The Chief Executive
Alhaji Salmon Babatunde Salmon is a seasoned broadcaster, media entrepreneur, and the visionary Chief Executive Officer of SBS 96.9FM Ilorin, one of the fastest-growing private radio stations in Kwara State, Nigeria.
A political scientist by training, Alhaji Salmon has carved a niche for himself in the Nigerian media landscape through his passion for communication, civic engagement, and public enlightenment. Born and raised in Ilorin, Kwara State, he began his academic journey at Mount Carmel Primary School in the 1980s and continued at Mount Carmel College for his junior secondary education.
He later proceeded to Government Secondary School, Ballah, where he completed his senior secondary education. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the prestigious University of Ilorin, a foundation that has informed his deep interest in governance, public policy, and the role of media in democratic discourse.
With decades of experience in the media sector, Alhaji Salmon has participated in numerous professional trainings, both locally and internationally, in areas such as broadcast operations, media leadership, and strategic communication.
His commitment to lifelong learning continues to fuel his dynamic leadership and innovative drive at SBS FM. A respected figure in the Kwara media space, he is known for his integrity, professionalism, and passion for youth empowerment and community development.

About The Station Manager
Abdulraheem Olanrewaju Abdulraheem is a multimedia creator and communications professional with a solid academic foundation in Mass Communication. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree (MSc) in the same field.
With extensive experience in journalism, multimedia design, executive administration, and broadcast media, he has built a career marked by versatility, creativity, and leadership. He currently serves as a Broadcast Journalist and General Manager, where he leads teams, manages programming, and contributes to media development. A PR Nigeria Fellow, Abdulraheem has chaired key committees and led several impactful media projects, demonstrating his ability to blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
He is creative director Larryforward Media, a multimedia Hub based in Ilorin specializes in digital media and design, providing creative solutions for clients across various sectors, Abdulraheem showcases his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to delivering value across industries.
