Tinubu Stumbles Briefly During Reception Parade in Turkey

President Bola Tinubu momentarily fell during a ceremonial march-past held for his arrival at the parade ground in Turkey on Tuesday.
The president joined the guard of honor during the incident, which briefly attracted notice before the program went on uninterrupted.

The goal of Tinubu’s visit is to strengthen Nigeria’s long-standing friendly ties with Turkey while looking into new areas of collaboration to expand their mutually beneficial alliance.
The president will have bilateral discussions on trade, security, investment, and regional cooperation with his Turkish counterpart, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, during the visit.
Along with other high-level official meetings, the agenda will also include the signing of multiple memoranda of understanding between the two countries.

In order to link Nigerian and Turkish investors and open doors for mutual economic progress, a business forum is anticipated to take place on the fringes of the visit.
Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Lateef Fagbemi, SAN; Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Wale Edun; Minister of Solid Minerals Development Dele Alake; and Minister of Defense General Christopher Musa (rtd) were among the senior Nigerian officials who greeted the President at his hotel.
