Social media comedian Carter Efe has defeated street artiste Habeeb ‘Portable’ Badmus in a celebrity boxing bout, winning by unanimous decision at the Chaos in the Ring 4 event held on Friday night in Lagos.

The three-round contest, staged at the Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, saw all three judges score the fight 30-27 in favour of Efe.

The victory ends Portable’s unbeaten run in celebrity boxing and strips him of his status as the sport’s reigning figure, having previously defeated Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington to claim two belts.

Portable had entered the bout full of confidence, boasting ahead of the fight: “I will use you to collect my third belt… I will beat you now.”

Efe, however, dismissed the threat, saying, “One punch and you fall.”

Inside the ring, Portable started aggressively, throwing wild punches in the opening round, but Efe maintained composure, absorbing the pressure and responding with measured counters, including uppercuts and body shots.

The pattern continued in the second round, with Portable relying on erratic swings and frequent clinches, while Efe grew more precise, landing cleaner combinations.

By the third round, Efe had firmly taken control, consistently finding his target before the final bell.

The result crowns Carter Efe as the new celebrity boxing champion.
