Igbimo-Oluyanana Celebrates SBS FM Chairman, Salmon Babatunde Salmon, on Birthday

Members of Igbimo-Oluyanana have celebrated the Founder and Chairman of SBS 96.9 FM, Alhaji Salmon Babatunde Salmon, describing him as a man of uncommon distinction and humility whose contributions have positively impacted many lives.

In a birthday message signed by Abdulwaheed Onikanhun, a member of Igbimo-Oluyanana in Kwara State, the group commended Alhaji Salmon for his humility, noting that his ability to remain down-to-earth despite his achievements makes him worthy of emulation.

The group also described the SBS FM Chairman as a visionary who has contributed significantly to the development of radio broadcasting, particularly through the transformation of SBS FM from a community radio station into a full commercial broadcast outfit.

According to the group, SBS FM has distinguished itself as “the people’s radio” under his leadership, touching the lives of people across different age groups and communities.

On behalf of the initiator of Igbimo-Oluyanana, Comrade Abdullateef Ishowo, Ishowo Olanrewaju, Abdulkadir Shola Muse and other members, Onikanhun congratulated the SBS FM Chairman on his birthday and prayed for him to enjoy many more years of good health, happiness, fulfilment and continued impact.
