2027: Massive Turnout as Kwara APC Holds ‘Ndupe Rally’ for Tinubu, Danladi, Other Candidates

Thousands of supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Sunday staged a solidarity rally in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, in support of President Bola Tinubu, the party’s governorship candidate, Engr. Salihu Yakubu Danladi, and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The rally, tagged “Kwara APC Ndupe Rally,” was organised by a group of party members and stakeholders under the aegis of Kwara Progressives.

The event attracted party faithful and supporters from the three senatorial districts of the state and was aimed at mobilising support for the APC and its candidates ahead of the elections.

Participants converged at the General Roundabout in Ilorin before embarking on a road procession through major parts of the state capital, including Surulere, Oja-Oba and Post Office, before terminating at the APC State Secretariat.

Supporters chanted party slogans, sang solidarity songs and displayed banners expressing support for President Tinubu, Danladi and other APC candidates.

Speaking during the rally, the Kwara State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Hon. Abdullateef Gidado Alakawa, commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for what he described as his leadership and commitment to the development of Kwara State.

He urged party members to sustain the momentum as campaigns for the 2027 general elections gather pace.

The rally was attended by the APC governorship candidate, Engr. Salihu Yakubu Danladi; the party’s Kwara South Senatorial candidate, Hon. Lekan Adewoye; Kwara North Senatorial candidate, Dr. Mahmud Umar; House of Representatives candidates, Engr. AbdulQuawiy Olododo and Dr. AbdulRafiu Ajakaye; House of Assembly candidate, Hon. Fafoluyi Olayinka, as well as other party leaders and supporters.

According to the organisers, the rally forms part of the APC’s ongoing grassroots mobilisation strategy aimed at consolidating support across Kwara State ahead of the 2027 polls.
